The camp has been graced by the presence of Nnalinya Dinah Kigga, who represented the Kabaka and also delivered the Kabaka’s message to the people of Bulemezi. In his message, Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II thanked all partners of the foundation for their efforts in making the Bulemezi outreach a success. He appealed to the public to continue to fight HIV. He also encouraged men to carry out regular check-ups, especially for prostate cancer. Nnalinya Kigga was accompanied by Owek. Cotilda Nakakate, the Minister of Health – Buganda Kingdom, and Bishop Henry Tamale, a board member of the Foundation, among others.
In his welcome remarks, the Executive Director of the Kabaka Foundation, expressed gratitude to the Government of Uganda and appealed that a substantial budget be allocated towards health-related initiatives.
The Bulemezi camp marks the sixth in the series, following similar outreaches in Buddu, Kyaddondo, Busiro, Ssingo, and Kyaggwe. The Bulemezi camp is scheduled to conclude tomorrow, 25th February 2026.
